Family Therapy
Guiding Families Toward Emotional Wellness and Connection
Family Counseling And Therapy

I work intentionally to build a safe, supportive relationship with clients and their families – creating a space where they feel comfortable sharing, processing, and asking for help. It’s especially meaningful to watch clients find their voice and learn to communicate their needs with confidence.
I love supporting children as they build important skills and strengthen their relationships with siblings, peers, and parents. I enjoy partnering with children and families to develop coping skills for navigating today’s world—learning ways to manage anxiety or sadness, express needs with words, and handle emotions and behaviors in healthy, supportive ways.
I see parents and caregivers as experts on their child and love collaborating with them to offer practical, supportive tools for navigating challenges at home. I enjoy tailoring treatment to each child’s unique strengths – creating a warm and empowering therapeutic experience with steadfast support.
What To Expect

Family therapy is a supportive type of counseling that helps families strengthen relationships, improve communication, and work through challenges together. It recognizes that when one family member is struggling, it can affect the whole family—and that healing often happens best when everyone is involved.
In this setting, I work with parents, children, teens, and caregivers to better understand each other’s perspectives, build healthy coping skills, and create positive ways of interacting to navigate challenges such as addressing behavior concerns, stress, life transitions, conflict, or emotional struggles.
My role is to help guide these conversations with kindness and respect – creating a safe space where everyone feels heard and valued. Family therapy is about connection, support, and growth. My goal is to help families navigate life’s ups and downs while building trust, understanding, and deeper relationships along the way.
Family therapy sessions can be paired with individual therapy sessions with children and youth. Teens can request a session with their parent(s) or caregiver(s). Parents and Caregivers are also welcome to request a family therapy session. In addition I also offer siblings work.
